For the past eight weeks, The Cambridge North Dumfries Ontario Health Team (CND OHT) has been operating the CND OHT Community Mental Health and Addictions Clinic (C-MAC) pilot project with the support of our members and community partners.
The pilot of the C-MAC has shown that there is a demonstrable need for these services to continue in Cambridge and North Dumfries. In a short timeframe, the clinic has:
Initial C-MAC patient feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
The Cambridge North Dumfries Ontario Health Team is initiating a comprehensive evaluation of the pilot project and is working towards refining the clinic model, securing sustainability funding, and finding the C-MAC a new, longer-term home in the community. Stay tuned for updates!
