2022-06-09:  On Saturday June 11th, the provincial mask mandate requiring masks to be worn in the majority of high risk settings ends. Masks continue to be required in long-term care homes and retirement homes. Cambridge Memorial Hospital will continue to require masks be worn by everyone coming into the building as one way to continue to protect patients, staff and visitors.

Similarly, Cambridge North Dumfries doctors, nurse practitioners and other health care settings may also require those coming into the building to wear masks. Masks are one evidence-based way to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and as stated by Dr. Kieran Moore, are recommended in higher-risk settings. Please remember to be kind to health care workers and all those working in health care settings as we continue to manage exceptionally high demand for health care services in our communities.

2022-03-23: The CND OHT is an advocate of developing a CTS. In Cambridge we have an opportunity to prevent the increasing overdose mortality trajectory that were seeing provincially. The CTS will help us do that.

2022-03-01: As restrictions are relaxed in the province today, Cambridge North Dumfries Ontario Health Team partners are committed to the importance of continued protective measures for the safety of our community, including our patients and staff. The CND OHT remains supportive of staff vaccine policies and encourages our communities to continue to wear masks and get vaccinated.
